I had planned to host the TT quilt group tonight in the back yard.  After weeks of no significant rain, it started to pour this morning.  Isn't that just the way?!  So I've run the sweeper and moved more chairs into the living room and started up the air conditioner.

The sunflower quilt on the dining room table.  A few weeks ago I picked some some chocolate brown paper plates and some pretty paper napkins.  I bought some glassine bags and wooden knives, forks, and spoons from Garnish.  They have the cutest ideas for packaging food, and I love their blog.  All the bags have a striped straw, too.

All the bags are inside Mom's antique Girl Scout lunch box.  Perfect.  And tucked inside each glassine bag is a little wish ticket.  After our meeting, someone will pull a number out of a dish.  Whoever has the wish ticket with that number will win a pin cushion.  Just something fun that we do once in a while at a meeting.

Your quilted tabletop, and that adorable lunchbox! Love your cute idea of the little ticket that some lucky lady received for a surprise pincushion! Hope that you all had a marvelous time together.

I saw a Sunflower Quilt at the Buggy Barn quilt show and fell in love with it and bought the pattern, and here you've got one on your table! I just love it!
