These sweet little star blocks are featured at Temecula Quilt Company's blog.   The blocks finish at 4 1/2", and the finished quilt will be 16" square.  I didn't buy the kit but am pulling fabrics from my stash.

We are getting a break from the heat here in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and I'm working as fast as I can in my sewing room trying to get projects finished up before it gets so hot again that I can't be in there.  My sewing room is so small that just the heat of the iron can keep the room warm!

What sweet blocks! I'm glad you're getting a bit of a break from the heat--I can't believe how warm it's been there!

Enjoy your weekend. :)

I have that problem too, with the heat of the iron...even while the A/C was on.

Those are lovely blocks, Mary and your piecing is always stellar.

We've had a tiny break in the weather, too. Such a blessing. The quilt is going to be beautiful!

Hi Mary

The blocks are lovely. Hope that it's still cool in your neck of the woods - in eastern PA we're back in the hazy hot and humid stretch.

Enjoy your weekend!
