We've been dumped on by the snow, and today the temperatures are very cold. It feels good to be in for the day and not have to navigate snowy roads going to work. Last night two sweeties (grandkids Natie and Max) spent the night. I think Max may have been worried about my gramma skills; he was awake every two hours. At two months old, I knew we would be spending a lot of time together. I hope he'll nap today!

While my daughter Mandy and her husband Shane were here over Christmas holiday, she took pictures of my finished Bunny Hill quilt top. I would like to get this top quilted up and put away in case any new grandbabies come along.

My friend from work who is framing my stitcheries had two finished yesterday, and I am so pleased with his work.

I still have four pieces to pin to foam board, and I need to get going on that.

When my cousing Audrey introduced me to blogging and gave me a list of her favorites, she told me she loved homespunliving. I check this blog every day because I love Deb's writing style, her pictures, and her knitting. I was the lucky winner of her most recent giveaway - a calendar of some of her pictures. Thanks again, Deb; this will be a keeper for sure. Please add her blog to your list of favorites; I know you won't be disappointed.

I'm hearing noises, and I think people are waking up. I hope your day is a special one!

OK -- Lots to talk about... Love on those grandbabies...completely jealous....I guess I'll get my turn one day. I've stitched a couple of pieces. When it warms up, Don's gonna make frames. I'm enchanted by the one/two words quotes. Seems to be giving me lots of encouragement. The BOM is a real accomplishment. I printed out the patterns. I have 3 bom's in progress. I promised I'm not starting another until I get 'em done. It's not drudgery, I'm having fun pulling them out and working on them. It's good hearing from you...

Give those grandbabies a big hug! Maybe I will have one soon. Your quilt is so adorable. I have downloaded all of the patterns but have not started. The snowmen are adorable and you did a great job.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Blessings,
Donna

I know what you mean about it feels good to be in for the day. I love snow days... for some reason I use those to justify me doing nothing but working on my many projects I have going. I use them for a break from the mundane house chores. I hope you are able to accomplish something today, but also get to enjoy your sweeties!

I adore your Bunny Hill quilt top. There will be a very fortunate grandbaby somewhere along the way. I love it!

I went to Deb's homespunliving blog and I can see why you go there every day! Thanks for sharing her info, I'm following her now as well.

Enjoy your snow day and your grandbabies today~

I know you are truly loving every minute with Natalie and Max...it does not get better then being a Grandma...they are a blessing from God, I like to think "our" rewards come in the form of grandchildren!

Have a wonderful weekend, stay warm! Blessings to you and yours!

Wonderful stitcheries, Mary! I had to go out today but we don't have snow so no worries with that but it is cold! At least for us, this is cold.

Ahhh time with babies - sounds like the most wonderful of times.

The quilt is soo beautiful - is there talk of a new baby in the family?

Your blog is done exceptionally well - most are too busy and distracting. Much like your Blog title, your layout IS Neat and Tidy!

Your stitching is quite refreshing, simple yet sophisticated.

I would be honored if you visited my website. You may enjoy stitching the free design, His Name is Jesus as it has blessed many.
