Now I've gone and done it.......

I'm going public with my commitment to finish up projects and quit buying so much quilt stuff; no more whining to Audrey about the unfinished stuff. I've signed up for the stashbusting challenge. Actually, I have given away books, patterns, and fabric in the past couple years. I've also picked away at projects and tried to finish things up. Why is it that it's more fun to start a project than to complete one! Anyway, here's the link. Are you up to the challenge?

This is what I have been working the past two weeks. It's a Kim Diehl pattern published in Am Patchwork & Quilting, February 2007. I started it in 2008 and am almost finished with the fourth block. I started this project as a way to use up my homespun stash. I barely made a dent in it.

I'll be keeping my eye on you! You better weed out some more fabric bc I don't want to have to help you move any more heavy storage devices to house all of that fabulous stuff! Love you and hope you have fun heading back to work tomorrow. Ugh, an ending vacation.

Ha, ha, I sure hope it helps you going public and all. It sure hasn't helped me! lol Anyway, the piece that you posted looks absolutely fabulous and I think that you really should finish it after all of the time and energy that you've put into it. I'm holding your feet to the fire now and I can't wait to see the finished quilt. Feel the pressure??? rofl
Happy New Year!
Aloha!

Arlette: For sure I'm on a roll right now; I wonder where all this ambition will be in a couple months!

Mary,
Good for you, finishing up those projects! I like this block and you know....I saw a smiley face in it immediately. It must be happy to be completed.

Jody: I cranked out quite a bit of stitching over the Christmas holiday; but since I've gone back to work - nothing!! I'm determined to keep at it though. Thanks for stopping by.
