Today we thanked a vet

At work today, our company was presented with an American flag that flew in Baghdad, Iraq. The son of one of our employees is home on leave after a 15-month tour of duty. The presentation was short and sweet. Afterwards we each shook hands with the vet. It was very moving and great way to say thank you to him.

What a great thing you guys did. A 15-month tour of duty....I cannot even imagine. He definatly deserves the thanks.

I stood behind the presentation (I'm not in the picture), and the machines were still running; so it was difficult to hear him. But just the thought of what was going on was really tremendous. His dad must have been really proud!

I looked for you in that photo. :) So that's why I didn't see you.
