This is the first of the 12 ornaments I want to stitch for my bannister when I decorate for Christmas. I plan to do one a month, and I've had this one done for a while. I'm almost finished with the second; maybe I'll be able to get two done this month.

The pattern is from Just Cross Stitch 2011 Christmas Ornament issue and was stitched on leftover linen I had on hand.

It's a sweet pattern - I saw the bunny and thought of spring!

So pretty! I am terrible at hand stitching. I just signed up for a day long class to improve my skills! Love the bunny its too cute. Hope you are having a great day.

Wonderful finish, Mary! I love your finishing, too.

Love the ornament: the stitching and the finish too. It's a great idea to stitch an ornament each month, I'll look into it (only 1 month behind ;-))

I have a weakness for bunnies any time of the year....I love this--- What are you stuffing them with? Are they about 4 inches square? I love the jute braiding. Smart girl making one a month. I was just telling someone in the airport about our BOM---everyone needs small finishes--- one a month is a great idea....

Oh, that's a great idea! I should have already found my designs and had 1 or 2 stitched, darn! I need to get on that right away! I really want to do that this year. This is an adorable ornament, love it Mary!
