Still sewing on the stash

I didn't get to my quilt group meeting this past week as the weather was a little iffy. Plus Larry came home with a box of ice cream and some hot fudge. What can I say - I'm easily swayed!

When I won the Sudoku kit from Laurie Minnick, she also threw in Petit Four squares of Charlevoix. I sewed them up into this small table quilt. In the spring it'll be on my kitchen table underneath and ironstone pitcher of flowers. In the meantime, it holds my stitching supplies.

And I pieced together these blocks I embroidered. It was one of the best projects I've stitched - almost all done in black floss.

And just a dab of color in a couple of the blocks.

We missed you at TTs! But given the choice of iffy driving weather or ice cream and hot fudge, I think you chose wisely! Hope you bring your blog show&tell to the next meeting.

Love your work. I'm an ice cream with chocolate syrup kinda girl. It's always more fun to share ice scream with someone else. Love your projects. There's something so classic about embroidery designs in one color. Awesome work.
