Fun stuff

I have enough projects to finish without evening thinking of starting this one, but wouldn't it be fun to make this for grandkids or a special quilting/stitching buddy? And look, this calendar hangs from a knitting needle!

Buying the wool felt suggested, makes this calendar is really expensive; but using your imagination, it could be sewn up a lot cheaper and still be really cute.

Hmmmmm, there is still a lot of time to try to put one together. Here's the link; I'd love to know if you make one.

It's a lovely calendar....but getting a bit too near December to start one, I think.

Many years ago I made stockings for family members that had the Advent calendar pockets like the one you are showing. They were shaped like Christmas stockings and it WAS years ago, when I had energy and NOT a full time job ☺! It was a fun project, and filling the tiny pockets had to be with creative thinking, and a few goodies ended up in the main stocking with notes in the tiny pockets giving the search instructions! What you are showing would be a wonderful surprise for a quilter or knitter, clever with the knitting needle holder! Blessings to you from my part of PA!

Cute idea! I would love to have one for my crafting area, forget the kids! Lol, just kidding. But I have too many projects cooking right now to start one. Very nifty though, love it!
