Julianne Mary RN

Our daughter Julie is graduating from nursing school this week. We attended the pinning ceremony last night. Sometimes my family reminds me of the family in the movie "While You Were Sleeping." We rally around each other when there is a need or when there is a celebration. We do a lot of eating together and a lot of time just enjoying each other. The Canadians Mandy and Shane came to spend the weekend with us and ended up staying an extra couple days so they could attend the pinning ceremony with us. It just seems right that they are here for Julie's big moment as well.

And a big moment it is. Julie spent more hours studying and learning than I could even begin to imagine. And a lot of prayers have been offered up each step of the way. To say we are proud of her is an understatement, but I just can't think of a word that describes how I feel right now.

Julie, I'll keep praying you on. You will be a wonderful nurse when you land your job!

And I agree with the "While You Were Sleeping" assessment.

Congratulations to Julie, a good nurse can make a HUGE difference in how a person copes with medical issues. I suspect Julie will be a very good nurse! How can she miss with God on her side? I am happy that your family was together for the special pinning...that makes it even better!
