The Christmas production

No one could put on a Christmas like my mom. She had the talent for baking, sewing, decorating, and everything else that goes with making a Christmas special while keeping the holiday Christ-centered. When I get out some of her decorations or bake cookies from her recipes, there are such great memories. She is tiny - just barely 5" tall, but she has raised the bar quite high. I always hope I can do as well as she did.

I remember her helping me make a pine cone wreath. I had that for years and wish I still had it. But I do have a little wooden sled that she painted with some holly and NOEL. I love that sled! She certainly did everything with a special love. For sure you are following in her footsteps!

You always put on a very special Christmas for us. I couldn't imagine spending the holiday anywhere except at your house. I only remember parts of our Christmas with Grandma, but I think you've raised the bar for all of us now to reach.

Christmas isn't going to be the same not being home. I find myself wishing I was there watching movies with dad, admiring your decorations, eating and frosting cookies. I just miss it all so much. I agree with Jenn - you've set the bar high for us. I'm so happy to be from a home with such a loving legacy. I made some of Grandma's frosted cookies last night and thought of everyone.
