National Walk at Lunch Day

The company I work for has three divisions in one town. This is the group that walked from the division I work at. I'm the one in the back row in the yellow jacket trying to hide behind Ed.

This is Brenda and me coming in from the three miles. Our route took us through town and up and down hills. We started out with 50° temps and lots of wind. We were freezing before we started. By the time we were finished, the coats were off; and we were sweating.

It was a good walk and a good time. I'm back on track now with my exercise!

Well Maey I didn't walk yesterday but I did start today. Me and a fellow employee will be walking at lunch time from here on out. We have a beautiful bike trail right up from where we work. Since we just started today, I think we walked maybe a mile. We only have so much time to walk so I think that was pretty good for now.

Keep up the good work girl.
Hugs, AMY

PS. I think I can see your head back there behind ED!

You rock!!!! It all starts with just one step.... The wildlife(a.k.a. ticks!!) has gotten too aggressive for us to hike in the woods so we're back to pacing the roadside daily. THe pups love it either way.... Enjoy the weather.

So you finally got to walk at lunch, huh? Glad you got the right day this time. Haha, just kidding! How nice! I know if I would just get out there and walk one time it would get me back on track also so I know what you mean! Way to go Mary!

How fun! Nothing like a good walk in the spring. Looks like you had good weather for it too. Have a great Friday!

I didn't know it was a National Walk at Lunch day! But then again, I work out of my home... and I don't think I talked with a co-worker about anything all day...
What great exercise! Good job!

Walking is so good, I love to walk but don't walk as much as I should. I do walk to work and back which is a fair distance but well done you.

This is such a great idea...I am thinking that it would be something good to start, if only to walk off frustrations of the day! I guess that means it would be good for my health too :>)!! Have a great week, blessings your way!

And you look good doing it!!! Three miles? Patpatpat on the back! I have a friend who's presently walking the Appalachian Trail, his last 300 miles, and he'll have walked the whole trail. He's been working on it for years. I have to admire his dedication.
