We gather together
One of the engineers where I work showed me a puzzle he had put together and framed. I'm not a fan of framed puzzles, but his work was beautiful. I offhand mentioned that if he ever got into the business of framing, I had several pieces of stitchery that I needed framed.
So together we are working on this. He is practicing his carpentry skills, and I pin the piece to the foam board. This is the first finished project. He says there are flaws in his work; I am one thread off in having this piece centered. However, I think it looks good just as it is.
This was stitched on Aida cloth, and it's the only piece I have on Aida. The rest are done on linen, and that will be a challenge for me.

I love this Mary. I think the two of you make a pretty good pair! I see no flaws in either piece. Perfect!

Very pretty!
This is so great. I don't see any flaws :) I used to cross stitch quite a bit but now my hands won't cooperate with the needle anymore. *sigh*
Beautiful. I cant sew on linen any more, it has to be 14 ct Aida.
Beautiful! I don't see any imperfections whatsoever. This reminds me I need to re-do our family name that my sister crocheted for us years ago. It slipped from the matboard. Hmm, need to study up on how to do this. Your work is lovely! The newbie framer did well too! -Tammy
It's a beautiful piece....a treasure to hand down.
