I think I'm just going to do it!

There is a new quilt shop in our area, and she's have a sale tomorrow. I need some red and white fabric for the Bunny Hill quilt I've been working on, so I think tomorrow I'm going to see what they have. It's been a busy summer, and I would just like a day (or weekend) to putter around the house. I'm putting something in the crockpot, heading out to shop, and then come home to sew. Hope your weekend plans are just as fun!

My next post will be #100, and I will be having a giveaway. Please check back.

Have fun Mary, I agree you deserve some weekend sewing time ~ GO FOR IT!! I love that Crock Pot idea, and what a great feeling to know you don't even need to focus on supper, because it is already cooking for you! WooooHoooo #100, I have a magic number coming up too, and I have been thinking about how I can celebrate with my readers :>)!!

Have a great day, looks like God has given us a pretty one here in Central PA!

Your plans sound so wonderful! My favorite days are those when I have nothing really pressing, when I can just wear what I want and putter around my house.

I need to use my crock pot more. I have a nice recipe for roast I have not made in a long time, so I think I will make it one day next week.

I hope your weekend is bright, beautiful, and blessed!

Hi Mary--I like the sounds of your weekend too--I forgot to ask you the last time--how can be neat and tidy and still sew and quilt--oh my I do try--but?????????????? I am getting some better--but my problem is I always have too many projects in the works at all times---be sure to show us your "buys" from the new shop!! Have a good one--hugs, just, Di

I just love your blog - your excitement is contagious! I need to get sewing again. It's very therapeutic and I haven't done it in years. I also love to cross-stitch, but again... Somebody needs to pry my hands off this keyboard! :)
