This afternoon is stitch day with Audrey and Melissa. I finished up my tuffets from the Miss Rosie pattern NancyF sent me, and I'm taking them with me so that Audrey and Melissa can each have one.
I filled mine with baked wild birdseed. Years ago Mom and the women in her ladies group at church made hundreds of bean bag frogs filled with baked bird seed. She said that if the seed is baked, it won't get wormy. Yuck. Anyway, I also put some lavender from last year's garden in these. They smell heavenly.

I remember my frog! I loved that thing. And I remember when it got a hole in it's leg, we just tied it off. I didn't know that about birdseed...about baking it so it doesn't get wormy. Your tuffets are wonderful!
Thank you Mary! I love mine!! I love the things you make for me. Your things are always so nice.
I am sure the Lavender made the tuffets smell wonderful, heavenly is a good description for sure! Baking birdseed, very interesting I am sure that didn't smell so good ;>) the worm thing would not be good! Have a great week!
