I've been on vacation since December 22. I should have worked that morning, and I actually got halfway there; but the weather was hideous with snow and ice. So I turned around and came home; I still can't believe I did that. Anyway, with the prep for Christmas Eve and Day celebrations and the downtime afterwards, it didn't seem like vacation until this morning. So what to do with all this time until I go back on January 5? I've decided to do housework only in the mornings and spend the afternoons piecing, quilting, or stitching. What's vacation without some fun!
