If you are in my TT quilt group, you may want to stop reading; I'm writing about the upcoming retreat and the gifts.

It's spring quilt retreat time this coming weekend.  With the help of NancyZ, Audrey, and Betsy, here are the gifts for the quilters.  First up are little candies in the shapes of buttons and packaged with their own little labels.  Here's the link to the blog where I found this idea, and it even includes the .pdf for the labels.  I am not a candy maker, but these were simple although time consuming.  Aren't they just dang cute?!

So because I don't think I have enough stress in my life, I decided all the gifts needed to be wrapped. I used a couple of old McCalls patterns and some ribbon from my stash to wrap up fork pins, binding clips, and Thread Heaven.

In the lunch bag there are a couple of dishclothes that Betsy knitted as well as a charm pack from NancyZ.  Audrey found on the web the cute idea of the canning jar with a packet of seeds, some thread, needles; and Betsy donated the little thread pick.  Looks like I've forgotten to tie a scrap of fabric around the jar rim.  Back to the sewing room to finish this up.

I've cut three Schnibbles patterns to work on at the retreat.  And if I'm lucky enough to get those finished up, we're close enough to my house that I can come home and pick up more work to do.  Believe it or not, I am finishing up UFO's even though it seems I continue to start new projects!

Have a great weekend.
